The current chapter looks into the immense impact of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) on organizational decision-making and particularly how it affects the work performance, managerial control, and assessment processes. Although AI improves efficiency, precision and predictability, it also raises ethical issues related to trustiness, openness, the lack of empathy, and reduced human control. Although there is growing literature on AI ethics, the literature primarily focuses on the technological and regulatory aspects, but there is a lack of consideration of the human emotional judgement to course AI-mediated organizational decisions. The discussion provides a criticism of the ethics of human-machine collaboration and offers a framework of integration of Emotional Intelligence (EI) with Human-Centric AI. The authors hold that successful implementation of AI at the work place needs not only technical expertise but also emotionally intelligent skills within the regulatory set-ups. Summarizing the knowledge of organizational behavior, human resource management, psychology and AI ethics, the chapter explains how primary EI skills, including self-awareness, empathy, emotional management, and social skills, can help mitigate any ethical issues present in algorithms, automation and dehumanization. An EI facilitated human-AI collaborative conceptual model is advanced, preferring the principles of augmentation to dominance, emphasizing the ethical obligations, and protecting the dignity and welfare of employees. The view is more relevant especially to executive leaders, human resource professionals and policymakers who have to balance human emotional judgement and AI systems. This chapter is abstract and provides a theory that combines Emotional Intelligence and human-centric artificial intelligence governance. Conclusion sets the guidelines of future research and regulation that should be adopted to incorporate EI into AI dominated workplaces to form part of the learning of ethical innovation alongside establishing EI skills as a viable tool of sustaining trust, justice and decision-making responsibility in AI adopted organizations.
