The fast-paced implementation of AI is changing sports management by providing the opportunity to make decisions based on the data, to make operations efficient, and performances optimised. The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in India has become a professional sports-managing ecosystem, which has made a significant shift to the use of advanced technologies in its strategic and managerial processes. This paper looks at how Artificial Intelligence influences the effectiveness of sports management in Pro Kabaddi League organisations in India. Primary data were gathered by relying on quantitative research design and studying managers, coaches, analysts and administrative professionals related to PKL franchises. In the analysis of key AI dimensions, such as AI-driven performance analytics, predictive decision-support systems, injury and workload monitoring tools, and compliance monitoring technologies were analysed as independent variables. The dependent variable was the effectiveness of sports management in terms of operational efficiency, the quality of strategic planning, resource utilisation, and governance outcomes. The relationships between AI adoption and sports management outcomes were evaluated with the help of the multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that there is a statistically significant positive effect of AI-based analytics and decision-support systems on the effectiveness of the management, as the better strategic alignment and operational control in PKL organisations can be observed. Also, AI-based surveillance systems prove to have a significant role in compliance management and fair play management, which supports the ethical management of professional kabaddi. The results can be used by the sports administrators, league policy makers and technology partners to improve the managerial performance without compromising the regulatory integrity and competitive fair play. This paper highlights the value of strategic use of AI in enhancing the sustainability and management of professional sports leagues in emerging sports markets.
